A Brexit vote to leave the EU would lead to an estimated 2 Million UK citizens being "stranded" in a country without the same rights and benefits that they have been previously used to receiving. Whilst the un-coupling from the EU would no doubt take time (estimate of 18-24 months), the impact on global mobility functions to facilitate retrospective visa/work permits and, in some cases, early repatriations for their onsite assignees could be significant. Additionally, organisations ability to easily mobilise the next generation of millennial movers freely within Europe would cease over night. How many UK citizens will have this front of mind when they vote on June 23. Not many I suspect...
