What a difference one year can make.
And who would have predicted the radical changes we are witnessing?
This year's Davos confronts a radically changed world (again), to the chagrin of the liberal elite, who really do find themselves suddenly thrust out of the tent.
Key themes for them, and the good and great, to digest are the possible demise of globalisation, trade wars and weakening global economy, the rise of China to political pre-eminence, potential political upheaval in Europe, the continuing scourge of inequality, Brexit and, of course, Trump.
Quite a menu.
This time, Davos man is almost on the outside looking in.
