Alarm bells are ringing for all UK's businesses that are dependent on the positive movement of labour from the EU into the UK. The UK has always been an attractive destination for nurses from the EU due to the higher wages they can secure here.

The uncertainty that Brexit has caused means higher wages are not enough now to attract the most talented nurses from the EU into the UK. Could this lead to recruitment problems for many other industrial, consumer and service sectors?

More than likely the answer is yes. This is bad news for the future prospects of the UK economy.
