My comments to Reuters on Brexit and the concerns that have been expressed by Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O'Leary about the threat to UK-EU flights. Mr O'Leary is right in expressing such concerns.  At the same time, it is possible that an interim UK-EU arrangement can be reached with a view to an open skies deal being negotiated later. The UK government is aware of the risk to flight disruption as a result of Brexit. This is yet another reason why there is a growing expectation that an interim arrangement would be necessary to allow for a post-Brexit UK-EU deal to be properly negotiated and agreed, including as regards aviation.
